Creating Peaceful Vibes With Butterfly Gardens

in #gardening8 years ago

Have you desired a tranquil place in your own yard
to relax and enjoy nature?

Planting a Butterfly Garden is an easy way to create your own beautiful and tranquil space for you to getaway to.

There are many plants that will attract butterflies to you yard, as well as, attracting a variety of birds. You may even find yourself spotting a family of hummingbirds too!

If you have a sunny location in your yard that gets a least 5 hours per day and could use some perking up, try planting a variety of flowers for you and your neighbors to enjoy. Be aware though, this can become a very addicting hobby. ;-)

Butterflies are attracted to your garden if you have plenty of nectar for them to enjoy. They will also be looking for host plants where they can lay their eggs and raise their young.

Now we will know how to draw butterflies into the garden. We also have salvia growing.

im follow you now

Thank you so much, I followed you as well.

It's going to be warm before we know it, even up north! That's a nice list of butterfly plants. That lilac in the last picture looks like it's pretty attractive to the butterflies, too!

What does the "WV" on your photos stand for? Thanks!

Hi @haphazard-hstead the WV are the initials for my name Wanda Virgo, Sunscape is my nickname. It is already staying in the high 30's at night and my greenhouse is bursting with plants for the garden. I am still sowing many this week and next. Lots for me to do this time of year. Loving life!
