Clerodendrum paniculatum, Pagoda Flower

Pagoda Flower
Clerodendrum paniculatam or Pagoda Plant will grow in full sun to full shade, here in Orlando. I grow mine in the shade, because I like the surprising punch of red/orange the flower clusters give the shadier parts of the garden.

The plants can reach eight feet or taller. The showy pagoda shaped flower clusters may be more then one foot long.

Clerodendrum paniculatam are drought tolerant once established. This plant is slightly invasive in my garden. New plants sprout up from under ground runners & from seed, but are easy to dig up and remove or transplant to a new location. Transplanted plants need frequent watering until established.
