Super Soil Recipe for potting, raised beds, etc. Grow Superfood!

Do you love to garden or are just thinking of maybe starting a few vegetables in a pot? Perhaps those flowers that you have never been able to grow in the yard? Well you are in luck today!

I have here for you the best potting soil recipe ever! Forget about pre packaged big name brands that cost you an arm and a leg.

This is more like shopping at Sams Club than the grocery store. You WILL end up with a lot of it to use but the cost is going to be so much less than the big bags of pre made potting soil and will have more of the necessary nutrients your plants need and love!

This is the basic recipe. You will want to add in other additives depending on the exact application. This recipe will give you a fantastic starting point before additives such as blood meal, bone meal, limestone, etc. So here we go..

(I use a 3 gallon bucket when preparing this but just keep the ratios the same and it will come out just fine).

The Basic Mix
3 parts sphagnum peat moss
2 parts dehydrated manure
1 parts vermiculite or pearlite

99% of all plants will do well with just this basic mix. Special needs can be met by adding in other items as necessary.
