Ultimate Drip Irrigation Control: How to Make an On/Off Garden Bed Manifold for Drip Tape

in #gardening7 years ago (edited)

Today, I'll show you how to build an individual garden bed on/off manifold. This allows me to turn on and off certain beds in an irrigation zone while still running water to the other beds in the zone. Very useful in many situations. The same design could be built with many different parts and set ups. You could do the same manifold with 1/4" line and 1/4" emitter line for a small garden if you wanted instead of 1/2" and drip tape. There are many iterations of different pieces and lines you could use for this. As always take the concept and apply it to your situation and good luck setting up your irrigation system!
