Poinsettias

Native to western Mexico, poinsettias are deer resistant, although they are grown as indoor potted plants in many places that deer inhabit.

Poinsettias can be grown outdoors year round in places like California and Florida.

60 million poinsettias are grown annually for the holiday season, and 90% of the world’s poinsettias are grown in the United States.
