Euonymus kiautschovicus ‘Manhattan’

Found in shade and sun, Euonymus kiautschovicus ‘Manhattan’ has what T.H. Everett calls in his New York Botanical Garden Illustrated Encyclopedia of Horticulture “excellent glossy green foliage.”

Useful for hedging and even screening, it is surprising perhaps that its little flowers are fragrant. Fast growing, if you like pruning, this might be your plant.

Through God’s sense of humor, this ‘Manhattan’ crayon was found in Manhattan, Kansas.
