thank you! no, it is just plain old untreated pine... i used 2x12x10 and used 3 1/2in. coated galvanized exterior wood screws to assemble... I used 1x3's for the trellis for the cukes...crazy buggers are sending out tendrills everywhere and climbing like champs...
Raised beds are great. I've got over 25 of them.
if this was a permanent residence i would have probably spent a little more money and used cedar, but we aren't planning on being here more than 5 years and then move to wherever we can find about 50Ac of relatively cheap raw land.

lol... no, i don't want that. i just want to be able to be far enough away from my neighbors that i don't disturb them...and the timber for building and firewood. ten acre's of land can yield 3 cord of wood a year sustainably, and i'll want to have a minimum of 9 cord available at all times. so that takes a minimum of 30Ac. then another 20Ac. for living, livestock, and farming..
