THE FLOWERS IN MY TINY GARDEN - PART 1

The size of our garden is around 40 sqm/430 sqft. and is surrounded by hedges of pine trees. We have an apple tree that seldom bares fruits because we always cut its branches every season to prevent it from growing too high. I prepare the flowering bulbs in Fall and in Spring we have lovely flowers such as the pics that I´m sharing here with you.

I preferred planting them in pots to avoid slug attacks. When they come in the night particularly after the rain, they attack all the leaves and even flowers as if they are having a fiesta devastating everything green. This is the reason why I have the containers placed on the upper terrace and plant all lettuce and other vegetables there. It pays to do so because to date the harvest are just wonderful...no slugs and other parasites.
