So, since I live in Canada...is snow my cover crop? I'm sad we can't grow all year long here :( Last year I spread horse manure all over my spent gardens and left that on all winter under the snow. Does that count? Do you have any advice for me up here in cold country?
Mulching is a good option where there's lots of snow. There are cover crops you could use but it depends, when does your first snowfall begin there?
