Wild Gardening&Life Challenge #1

As usual, let's get straight into the subject! Want to live a healthy life and eat healthy food? Follow this steps:

• get a garden
• get some seeds
• get some tools
• get to work

Yeah, I thought exactly the same. Follow me on my adventure, I promise you, I have no idea what I am doing here :))).

1. Get a Garden.
Ok, here it is :

1000'ish square meters or a quarter of an acre, ready to become the garden where our family food will (hopefully) be growing in the next few months. Managed (finally) to get a tractor about 4 days ago to do the ploughing, plowing, or whatever smashing the soil (so you can put the seeds in) is called.

It was needed because for the last four years it been Lucerne (some trefoil) in there and that thing has some roots!

I used those roots to make a walkway in the garden, it took me few hours to gather them, but hey

• get to work, remember?

2. Get some tools.

Keep in mind that, everything is going to be made with classic tools and there will be no chemicals involved.

And because of that, it takes forever to accomplish simple tasks.I still enjoy every minute of it :P. Allow me to show you what we managed to get done until now.

Some onions

Some popcorn

Some tomatoes, carrots and some aromatic herbs

Some Melons&Watermelons

The modus operandi ;)

Also, I am using hay to cover the rows in the first 3-4 days, it helps to keep the moisture and is speeding the germination process.

I am waiting for some more seeds tomorrow, so this is it for now!
