@papa-pepper Thanks for another excellent post. I picked up the tip about scraping the bark off at the node. Haven't tried that, but plan to. I want to propagate elderberry, but so far have not found one in my neighborhood. Guess I'll have to buy one and after it has grown a bit try propagating it. I plan to use the cutting method on my fig trees this coming spring.
