Report from our garden: After a heavy night rain
We woke up to lightning and thunder at night. We had to close the windows as fast as possible, because it was 70km/hour wind. By the morning the sky was completely cleansed, and I took some new photos. A lot of rain fell, the wash basin left outside was also full.

Lovely photos and views... although the strong winds can be destructive, there's something wonderfully cleaning about summer storms... they take the dust out of the air, and everything feels very refreshed the next day.

The garden loves nothing more than a good rain. Did you know that rain is ozonated water? Well its true. When the moisture is up in the sky and the lighting strikes the electricity super charges the water and makes it super oxygenated! The more oxygen in the water the healthier it is for the plants.....Well to a certain point anyways.
Did you know hydrogen peroxide is just SUPER oxygenated water?

That's really a great collection of pics you've got. When it rains heavy in my place... it usually results in water getting inside the homes. It takes hours to take a bucket and take it out . xD
Thanks for your comment. Really, it's a rainy area, but we are lucky, because we live on a hillside, and the water flows down to the valley.
