Yes, these are bananas and we had enjoyed them for a while now. We have so many different kinds of bananas here in El Salvador, and these are pretty small but chubby bananas and very, very sweet. One of our favorites.
Thank you for clarifying and that makes total sense. I know exactly which variety you are talking about. They are small and sweet, and small bunches. Around here they are called "minimos."
