I think these are just begonias, they are from my garden. The best indoor plants are palms and ferns, but all plants will filter the air to some degree.

There was something I read about air cleaner plants before. One of them is called nickname mother in law tongue
That's great! Love the name. We usually call them spider or spike plants ourselves, but mother in law tongue is way better.
