Separating the pups from their mother.
Our aloe plant had babies
First we had to remove the pot so we could separate the pups from the mother plant.
Then we gently broke up the dirt with our hands being careful to tare as few Roots as possible.
Then we separate the pups from the mother and set them out so we can pot them up on their own.
Then we filled the pots for the pups with soil. We used a potting soil with added perlite so. It will be well drained soil.
We potted them all up and repotted the mother plant in a larger pot. We had 18 pups.
Awesome! I have one that almost completely died due to over watering. Well the little bit that is left is green but it never grows at all. I'd love to have one multiply like that. Nice work.
Very nice they make great gifts to family and friends.
Lol thats exactly what I was planning on doing with them.
