RE: Planting Pechay - Day 1: Creating and Preparing Seedlings.....
Here in the US, we often see those plants called "Bok Choy" or "Pak Choi" or some variation of that. They are so delicious. I have better luck growing them in the very early spring, the late summer, and fall. In late spring or summer, they bolt easily, where they try to put on flowers and seeds.
I like how you use your banana leaves to make the pots. Do you get many weed seeds coming up in the soil you are using? I am looking forward to seeing your Pechay sprout and grow. And to see you transplant them into your garden. Happy gardening!
