RE: Tales From The Tomerosa: A Pumpkin Variety Review
There are so many great pumpkins - and even more wonderful winter squash. I try to grow a wide variety of them, but I have never grown Lumina or any white pumpkin. That does sound like a short growing season for that size of squash - very good! And it must be OK with cool nights, too, for you to be growing it - double very good. Happy New Year! And here's to a great garden for you in 2017!
Thank you so much!!! I might be of the school of thought that one can never grow too many different kinds of winter squash:), and I can't wait to hear about all of the interesting things that you grow this next season! Hope it's beyond fantastic for you!
At the very least, I always grow a lot of edible weeds, lol! But right now, there's a few inches of snow on the ground and temperatures are headed to 10F!
