A most excellent post on an incredible plant! We've got a bed that has been here for at least twenty years, and it gets some serious utilization every year! I've made comfrey fertilizer tea lots of times, and put it in my compost, but I am going to give the chopped up, direct application of it as a mulch a try. Thank you for such a great post!
