Solarization works wonders and is recommended to anyone wishing to grow tomatoes in the tropics! Another process I would recommend looking into that works wonderfully on a shorter schedule for removing weeds would be occultation. Same concept as solarization just utilizing black non transparent poly vs clear. Awesome post!
