A Healthy Breakfast On The Homestead

What a perfect way to start the day. Five Medjool dates will give you most of the vitamins, Fiber, and minerals that you need for the day. Eating three to five dates a day can help prevent strokes,help regulate blood pressure, help prevent some tyoes of heart disease, and help in the prevention of some types of cancers. They also help prevent leg cramps, as they are full of potassium. What is there not to like about Medjool Dates?

Nice, large, juicy Strawberries in season are another awesome addition to the Breakfast plate.  Different types of folk medicine give a lot of credit,not only to the fruit, but the leaves and roots also. Different accounts talk about the ability to cure throat infections, gout, diseases of the blood stream, and even inflammation. Forgers love to find patches of wild strawberries. 

Look at those nice fresh off the vine grapes! They are so delicious and good for you too.  A delicious addition to the plate, an awesome treat with benefits for your joints, blood, brain, and heart. Grapes anyone?

The last addition to this plate are the bananas. Bananas are full of potassium also and very helpful in preventing leg cramps. Bananas have been known to settle upset stomachs, are an aid to digestion, helps the brain, and many other things.  What a perfect breakfast food. 

When your diet is good, gone is the need for a lot of medicine. Where would you rather put your efforts? Everyday should start off with a good breakfast.

yep I bought dried medjool's but they are too sweet for me..half-ripe and unripe complement each other that it's crunchy and slightly sweet.

Taste better too but might not be everyone's :)

So true. I really feel better since I began watching what I eat.

One of my bestest is hoping to stop her anti-hypertensive meds thru diet, she've lost weight too as planned so it can be done.
