Skinning the tomaterssteemCreated with Sketch.

So this is what i did with All the ready tomatoes, when i picked i had some red ones and within a few days i had shit loads more small ones ready and a few big so i decided to bath them in hot water and skin them to save for soups down the road. it doesnt take long but it can be a real pain in the ass. the tomatoes arent exactly cold when you pull them out of the roaster to poke them and skin them but their more of a pain in the ass in your soup if you dont skin them lol. all the bad ones i took the seeds out of and dried to save, that will be in a coming post about saving seeds. So in the end i got hundreds if not thousands of seeds...5 bags of tomatoes for soup later.... and i made a fresh soup. next year i have use of a couple extra acres at a friends acerage so im gonna make a extra big pumpkin/zuichinni/cucumber/ squash patch and a couple, couple hundred foots of tomatoes. might even need to hire help by the end of next summer to be able to keep up. i had 13 gardens in town this year at different yard care customers that couldnt get down to garden anymore.and each of them got some fresh food all summer long, i sold a shitload at farmers markets and on buy and sells and to friends. gave los to family and still have freezers full for winter. so next summer's gonna be crazy with the extra space, and if i find more people with extra by then ill go even bigger, their is huge money in fresh organic produce, way more then i make off doing peoples yard's but at the same time, doing those yards and acerages grass and tree etc is what opened the door for me to get these space and make my buisness what it is so i have no plan to quit yards once i expand ill keep doing yards and simply hire help for weeding at harvesting if need be. pay some kids to get out there with buckets for the afternoon once or twice a week haha
