Second haul of radishes

in #gardening6 years ago

So today i decided to thin another 2 of my radish rows and came up with this haul. mostly small ones just thinning my rows to give the other room to get really big. I still have over a dozen rows of radishes between my garden spaces to get around to thinning out and posting clumps for sale on the local buy and sell's. If you havent read my earlier on posts you might wonder why so many? i have over a dozen garden spaces, im a landscaper by profession and lots of my customers are elderly and cant do their own grass anymore let alone garden, yet have large spaces from when they could still garden, so i use their garden space. bring the seeds, do the work. use thier water and space, and then split what i grow with them, they get produce for their water and space and i get extra space to make extra produce to sell, its a win win.

If you like my posts, leave a vote and a follow or resteem and leave a comment, im always up for a chat. ttyl

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

use thier water and space, and then split what i grow with them, they get produce for their water and space and i get extra space to make extra produce to sell, its a win win.
It should be their instead of thier.

i dont really care lol

Very cool. I didn't know you were gardening with others and splitting crops. That is very neat. In the small farm community I was born in, this was common. When a farmer was young, he would farm his land and some of his neighbors often paying rent with a share of the crops. Then when he was older he might reduce the amount of land he was farming and eventually even rent out his own land.
