How to manipulate Papaya trees to bear fruit and short trunks
As we know, papaya is one type of fruit rich in benefits for the health of the human body, ranging from fruit, leaves to sap that contains "Gelatin" one important element to improve the immune system.
But in this post I will not discuss about the benefits or the pleasure of papaya flavor.
I just want to share a little knowledge about the technique and how to engineer the papaya tree can bear fruit bushes but in a short stem, so it will look beautiful when used as ornamental plants or when cultivated in a vast plantation land.
FOLLOWING TUTORIAL:
1. Materials and tools needed:
- Humus soil that has been in loosen
- Charcoal husk
- Sharp and clean knife
- Plastic bags
- Rubber bracelet
- Plastic strap
- Toothpick or other small logs
2. How to make it:
- Choose a young and healthy papaya tree (Approximately 3 months after the seedling and learning flowering)
- Mix and stir until the Humus Soil and Charcoal Clay
- Insert into a prepared plastic bag, not too dense, but not too loose
- Tie the two ends of the plastic that has been filled with the media planting using a rubber band
- Trim/sloped 2/3 part of papaya tree trunk (do not get disconnected) cutting position is about 30 cm from the flower will begin to appear
- Give a slit part of the Papaya tree that has been in the cinder, then prop it with a Toothpick
Split Plastic bag containing planting medium.
- Cover part of Papaya tree that has been in the crescent and in tenants with plastic containing planting media, with the position of plastic openings overlooking the opening of Papaya tree pieces
- Ties Plastic strong contain growing media (but not too tight) in some positions and should be noticed that no part of the tree is open or missed from the planting media package.
If all of the above steps are implemented correctly, after approximately 25 days, the development will be noticeable, the new roots of Papaya Trees will be seen growing inside the plastic between the growing mediums.
Then it is time to move the papaya tree to a larger medium or to a new field.
The trick is as follows:
Prepare the planting hole with size 40 x 40 x 40 cm
Open the plastic wrap carefully, so that the media and balloon roots are not broken and damaged
Plant into the prepared hole, cover it again with the rest of the excavated soil, then flush with clean water sufficiently.
good job
