Saw that a couple of plants were suffering because they were over watered; I think the problem was during the night mostly, not the day time watering.
In the mornings I could see that some of the tom plants had drops of water on their leaves; if tomatoes get over watered they will try to 'sweat' the water out through the leaves. I haven't fixed the water schedule thinking the plants will be able to handle it(it was only 4 15 minutes watering cycles during the whole night) but it seems they couldn't cope with that.
The white spots are build up of salts. The leaves 'sweat' in the morning, then the water dries up and the salts are left behind. It's not a huge problem, but left unchecked the plants will underperform and I would get some leaf burn later on. I've changed the watering schedule now to include a single 15 minutes cycle during the middle of the night, might remove that as well if the problem won't go away.
While I was in between the rows, I also put the strings down for the toms; most of the plants don't need them yet as they're too small, but there are 3 or 4 that need to be tied up from now on.
The lettuce is recovering after yesterday's harvest.
Strawberries are doing their thing.
And I've got the first germinations from the last planting.
Cheers
