I like to experiment with growing different plants from different zones to see what will work and what won't in the tropics. I have been surprised with some that have worked. I have tried to reproduce micro-climate zones within the confines of my property. Some need a bit more work, but on the whole I am pleased with the out come.

where there is a will, often there is a way right? I've been experimenting with this as well, but I've got a long way to go yet. My friend in Mexico is growing rhubarb. It requires that winter/freeze/dormancy so she has to dig it up, stick it in the back of the fridge for three months and then replant. A labour of love big time :)
