A ray of beauty outvalues all the utilities of the world
With a spring in my step, my heart is expectant of great things. A gorgeous garden filled with sweet blooms does wonders for the soul.
So to brighten up your day (wherever you may be) I want to share with you the divine array of flowers I came across yesterday, while visiting Queens Park in Toowoomba, Australia.
Every year this inland city in the tropical state of Queensland, hosts an annual Carnival Of Flowers. Public parks, homes and the urban street scape come alive with vivid colours and the perfumery scents of all things flowers.
My visit to this region, was two weeks before the Carnival this year. Without the crowds to navigate and many of the garden beds already in bloom – it was a perfect way to wile away an afternoon.

I see and cabbage there grown :)
The cabbage was such a fun addition I thought. The climate in Toowoomba is perfect for all these kinds of flowers. The varieties on show are amazing!

It really is. And it was awesome to capture some of this beauty a few weeks out from the actual Carnival Of Flowers. It must be hard for the organisers to time the blooms perfectly with the event each year.

The park was stunning, so serene and colourful. I really enjoyed wandering around taking photos and soaking up the sunshine.
