Splitting Bamboo (Belah Bambu)

Bambu (Bambusa vulgaris ), common bamboo, is an open-clump type bamboo species. It is native to Indocina and to the province of Yunnan in southern China, but it has been widely cultivated in many other places and has become naturalized in several. Among bamboo species, it is one of the largest and most easily recognized (Source: Wikipedia). 

Here, in Aceh, It is easy to find the bamboo. Bamboo is very much usefulness. So that people still prefer to keep bamboo. Today I found a farmer diligent and friendly. He is preparing land farming. Land has been cleaned. Then he prepared equipment and tools to make a bamboo fence. Splitting bamboo need a specific techniques. Splitting bamboo must start from the base of the stem so that the ends of the stems. So that bamboo is split. Then rest assured that if the reverse split bamboo difficult. Do not forget to prepare a machete and pestle as a tool for splitting bamboo.
