Gardens by the Bay is a nature stop spreading over 101 hectares (250 sections of land) of recovered land in the Central Region of Singapore, nearby the Marina Reservoir. The recreation center comprises of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South, Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The biggest of the greenhouses is Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 sections of land).

Gardens by the Bay is a piece of a procedure by the Singapore government to change Singapore from a "Garden City" to a "City in a Garden". The expressed point is to raise personal satisfaction by upgrading greenery and vegetation in the city.

First declared by the Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, at the National Day Rally in 2005, Gardens by the Bay was proposed to be Singapore's head urban open-air entertainment space and a national symbol.

In 2006, a universal rivalry for the plan of the recreation center was held, pulling in excess of 70 passages presented by 170 firms from 24 nations. Two British firms – Grant Associates and Dominic White – were granted the agreements for the Bay South and Bay East Gardens separately.

Close by the lead planners Grant Associates, the outline group for Bay South included Wilkinson Eyre, Atelier Ten (ecological plan specialists) and Atelier One (basic architects). Being one of the well-known vacation destinations in Singapore, the recreation center got 6.4 million guests in 2014, while topping its 20 millionth guest stamp in November 2015.
