Un-happy Tomatoes Update.....

in #garden7 years ago (edited)

I posted awhile back about our mistake in planning or shall we say not changing our plans fast enough and the stress the garden suffered because of our failure to act….. See the post here….

We covered what we did to help get our plants back in shape and we wanted to share the results!

The tomato plant are green again, looking very healthy and starting to flower again!

I love those healthy tomatoes <3 have some in my parents garden!

Nothing like a fresh tomato right out of the garden!

Love the bean's. I planted both bush beans and pole beans. I rather the pole beans because my bush got attacked by slugs. Slugs really come out in the constant damp weather as it rains all the time this summer. Thanks for sharing and good to see your garden thriving again. Upvoted

We have gotten a lot of rain too. an inch to three inches a week, it was one of the issues we had with our garden as we planned for a typical two month dry cycle. We planted our bush beans underneath our pole beans in our hay bale garden and it worked pretty good. The bush beans produced in June and the died off leaving the pole beans to grow up the trellis. Thanks for your upvote and good luck up north!

looks fresh and healthy tomatoes...

We had a great crop until we had our issues... they are coming back real strong & hopefully production will start again soon!
