Fern "Ostrich Feather"
Mysterious plant fern. Everybody is looking for his flowers and they are asking themselves, are they blooming?
Any plant, for the continuation of its kind, should bloom. But how? These are either flowers, after the flowering of which there are seeds, or spores.
Ferns are the oldest plants and they certainly do not bloom, but reproduce either by underground root processes or by spores.
In different species of these plants spores in sporophores can be found on any part, but mostly they are leaves. But Strazhnik is individual and his spores mature on separate branches, collected in a bundle that looks like a flower.
That's how Straussnik fights with controversy. Handsomely.
Ferns grow under the canopy of the forest and to plant them in their garden, you need to pick up such areas, with such a land that this plant really liked.
I have a fern. Strauss grows on loamy soil and it's very difficult to get rid of this plant, especially if it started to dissolve its root processes.
If Strausnik liked the place of growth, he would try to fill in more than a large area. In this way, he can spoil the entire lawn or patch of flowers.
Fighting is useless. After mowing, he begins to occupy the area with even greater force.
Personally, I leave this beauty. I like the natural landscape that the plants themselves create.
On the areas where there are no flowers, and the stones lie, I leave my ferns, violets, lupins.
In the spring, these are beautiful green clearings, and by summer months escholzia, chamomile, viola begins to blossom.
Fern not only creates a shadow for passing plants, but also retains moisture in the soil. This neighborhood creates a beautiful landscape design.
Strausnik is perfectly adjacent to the conifers, especially with the Cossack juniper
If you do not want to injure fern bushes when mowing grass, just lay a spunbond around them and sprinkle with earth, or cover with mown grass.
Well, and a little more about this amazing plant.
In late autumn, the leaves of the fern will serve you as an excellent material for covering roses or other perennial flowers that require shelter.
Arrange the dry leaves of the fern in warehouses, cellars, where you store the tubers and the mice will bypass these areas.
I wish everyone good luck and beautiful plants in your gardens!
