Warning: Weeds galore!!!
Aloha!
As I walked outside towards the backyard, it darned on me that our very rainy winter season has brought some friends that would be nuisance. The yard is no longer prestine and groomed since it’s dominated by a lot of uninvited guests. It made me feel a little bit defeated but then a tiny little lightbulb went off. How about learning to appreciate what is!
And that is when I grabbed my iPhone for some weeds cheap shots!!! Please note that this post is not for some of you. Please move on because what I’m about to reveal are nothing more than the weeds infesting in my yard. Not the other doobies/weed, friends! Just Sophia and another one of her nonsense post.
Anyways, let’s see what I found in the yard. Let’s first start with this healthy field of grass at my neighbors yard. Ok, very very near and check out how tall it is!!!
And here are some flowers and shrubs just living it out around the yard. IMHO, once photos are taken, I can really appreciate it’s individual beauty as plants rather than be categorized as hated nuisance weeds.
Please enjoy! I’d love to hear which one is your favorite plant. Oh, BTW, one of the photo is of a very young rose plant sprouting into life!
And this very last photo can truly show how tall the grass is by the stepping stone. I’d say a good two feet tall..
So, did you enjoy my weeds?!! Which is your favorite?! I actually like them all while waiting for the weed-wacker man to arrive soon.
And as always, until we meet again, have a wonderful day.
Aloha!

Thank u
I have pure empathy for your weed invasion!! It is also happening in my front and back yard 😓 Your flowers are lovely and if they can survive through this, they will continue to grow. But pull those weeds if or when you can - they are drinking all the water that belongs to the good plants next summer... Good Luck 😊
Yay! The weed-wackier guy finally made it here this late afternoon.
