Island of Color in Suburbia.
In a garden outside a block of apartments, i photographed this garden in the middle of a lawn. It's a little splash of colour in what is otherwise a rather ordinary scene. Here, around a young Evergreen Magnolia tree, are planted a nice show of annual Pansies ( Viola). Somebody cares !

The Evergreen Magnolia ( Magnolia grandiflora ) grows to 20 metres or more. The one in my post is a young tree.
