A Little Backyard Time~ Renovations & Gardeningl
We’ve been doing a lot of improvement’s on house #2 (our little house by the beach).
The pool is clean, new stairs are being put in for the guest home on our property and I went crazy and raked ALL the mulch off and out the backyard. It was very old and gave the property a dirty appearance.
Backstory
When Jason and I first got married and moved from Virginia to California house #2 was House #1.
When we separated I moved to my home 15 minutes away. And that’s how we ended up with 2 homes now that we are back together.
I propagated and thinned out many of the plants and restarted my herb garden similar to the one in the other house.
I love the look of glazed pots filled with succulents so many of the cuttings are being rooted in pots now.
The weather has been warm and quite pleasant for outdoor work, the inside of the home needs a lil tlc too and soon enough that will happen.
Maybe home #2 becomes home #1.💜

You sure have done a lot of work on your home #2. If you love the beach as we do, you may want to make it your home #1!
I hope too soon! It’s smaller than my home so the upkeep will be easier and always has felt more like home to me, small and cozy!
