I've never been very good at growing food plants in the winter. I don't have a good place in the house to do that, not enough extra space. I tried it in the basement one year, but it's not warm enough down there. I would have to build a room just for growing, with insulated walls so I could keep it warm enough.
I understand! I’m pretty lucky with the set up here, perfect opportunity for winter growing. It’s hard if your house is not set up for it though!!
