Fruits from the garden.
With the wash-out that was this summer in the UK I was hoping all that rain would lead to some decent grapes but while they are ripening they didn't swell so I guess they'll be left to feed the birds over the winter.
The pear tree has given us 4 pears, guess the promise of the blossom in spring didn't hold out because of the poor weather, the plum tree didn't give us anything at all.
In the front yard the apple tree has lost most of the apples in to the wind, this year I really need to remember to cut it back as it's the saddest looking apple tree there is.
It's a good job we don't depend on the fruit and tend to leave most to feed the birds over the winter as our harvest this year is terrible.
I am sorry to see it. bad season makes fruit fall.
Hope this will be over.

It's been a bad summer weather wise, too much wind and rain and not enough sun.
This season has been horrible. Better luck next year for us all!
It's a shame that the weather didn't cooperate this year...but I am sure the birds and squirrels will appreciate the food.
