British summer, it seems we can't have every day sunny.
Gardening in the UK can be very hit and miss with the weather, you just can't trust the rain to stay away. Yesterday was warm and sunny while today the clouds have moved in. While the stop start of tidying the garden up is often interupted the plants never stop growing and every day new flowers open up.
These pots on the decking I planted with my youngest daughter back in the spring where we mixed up different types of lillies so we get a mix of colours as they flower.
After a rain interrupted week or so of hacking back hedges and shrubs the cleaning up is just about done and then I can sit back at just pottering around and replacing rotted wood on the decking.
Beautiful flower and I agree the UK weather is a bit hit and miss
But I love sunny evening.Spending few minutes gives some positive energy to do some positive work.Good post.Upvoted.

Last week was hell in the UK when the temperatures skyrocketed but now we are back to a little rain and grey skies.

We only got a couple of days of the really hot weather here in the Midlands so felt a little disapointed when we heard about the weather down south.

When I was in Britain for 3-4 days some years ago, it was raining a bit every day, so I can't even imagine what a sunny Britain looks like!
However, I'm happy the lily looks good and has opened up :)
It can be really nice when the sun is out but you just can't rely on there not being rain.
we use flowers to express many emotions and celebrate many grand events. The use of flowers transcends all of the boundaries we have set up between us. From our birth to funeral, first date to our wedding day, flowers are present at almost all of the most important times in our lives. We use them in religious ceremonies, in memorials, as declarations of love, and expressions of grief and sympathy.
and i think flowers are the best and the most beautiful thing on this earth so love it and love your posts keep it up and grow more plants to save this earth
