Getting into 'Permaculture'? ...what?

in #garden6 years ago (edited)

Beyond organic gardening... there is a mindset for reading and understanding an immediate landscape. And also… the bigger task of implementing this in tandem with such insight, in order to start closing the loop on many of our wasteful systems that depend daily on outside resources or influences.

‘Living somewhere is easy. Belonging somewhere is harder.’

Aye this be just one of the great books available on Amazon

'It shows us how we can and should live'.

Permaculture makes a lot of sense, but requires a lot of planning. I have tried it in a section of my small garden, but not very successfully. I like the Wheel of Ecological Culture info graphic. I move the pet rabbit run around the lawn everyday so they mow it for me and put their droppings into the compost heap - I make them earn their keep ;)
