1st. It had not been up a full minute. I know this post. It takes longer than a minute to read. How could you possibly know whether it were good material or not.
2nd. It's not good etiquette to go asking for followers. I'll let it slide because you did not ask for an upvote though.
3rd. You didn't even give it an upvote. That telknme either younger spamming the same message in many places or you wont return the favor. If it's good content give it an upvote of approval.
To should have said something like, "that's good material, I gave you an upvote. If you got the chance would you look at my content. You may like it. "
That would make me interested enough to look. Then knowing you haf given your me a vote. I would be alot more likely to give you one back.
This way though will get you ignored or worse flagged for spamming. Take my advice please. Come here to influence others positively and it will be returned in the most unexpected ways
