Hi buddies! How are you today? Good? If you read my previous post, you must already know that I'm reviewing Sega Genesis games. I've reviewed Sonic the Hedgehog, Mortal Kombat, and Street of Rage. Today, I'm about to review a good game which is named Earthworm Jim. What I like from this game is the worm character because his appearance is funny for me. Ok, I don't waste to waste your time in this part because it's a useless part hahahah :D.

Eearthworm Jim
Earthworm Jim is a run-and-gun video game which was released in 1994 and developed by Shiny Entertainment. At the first time, this game was only released for Sega Genesis. The main character of this game is an earthworm which is named Jim. In order to battle evil, he wears a robotic suit. Then, it was released for other video game consoles.
Earthworm Jim became one of the most popular games at that time. It also got many positive critics. Then it also has the sequel which is Earthworm Jim 2 which is launched one year later. Then, a high definition version of this game was created in 2010 for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade by Gameloft. It was named Earthworm Jim HD.

Gameplay
The developer of Earthworm Jim combines a run-and-gun genre and a 2D sidescrolling platform. The Player who controls Jim should avoid contact with the obstacles and the enemies. Then, Jim has the gun that can be utilized by the player. The player also can use Jim's head as a whip. The whip can be used for other purposes such as grabbing and swinging. The things that you have to remember is that This game has additional requirements to complete the level in certain levels.
In each level has its own boss that you should defeat. There are various boss battles such as Psy-Crow, Queen Slug-for-a-Butt, Evil the Cat, Bob the Killer Goldfish, Major Mucus, and Professor Monkey-For-A-Head. In addition, There are two enemies that appear in this game namely, Doc Duodenum which is a crazed organ of an alien and Chuck which is junkyard man which can vomit bizarre objects.
Plot
In the beginning of the story, Jim is a usual earthworm. Then, everything has changed since a unit of super robotic suit falling from the sky. Then, he got this amazing suit and the suit gives the ability for him to act like a human by using the suit. The whole body of Jim acts as a head while for the hands, legs, body, arms are handled by the robotic suit. In this game, Jim has two different main mission that he must complete. The first is that he has to dodge from the enemies that want the robotic suit back to them. Meanwhile, another mission is to save and protect the Princess What's-Her-Name from the enemies.

My Opinion
Have you played this game? if have, let us compare our perconal opinion of this game. Firstly I'm about to review the main character Jim the earthworm. He has unique appearance and I love this character. The weapons that he uses are a gun and his head as a whip. Then, the music in this games is also interesting for me. The story line of this game is also nice. In addition, the graphic that is served by this game is very good. In nutshell, I can say the rate of this game is 8.5 of 10.
