How are you?

Hi, how is your day? I hope that you have a great day. As you know that in every my post I always review a classic game that is released on NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and Arcade. However, today I'm gonna review a game that released fon SEGA. The game is Aladdin which you may ever hear. Actually, I was quite rare to play this game. Ok, I'm not gonna talk too much anymore. Let me review this game.

Aladdin is a film that was made by Disney in 1992. Then a year later, a game version was launched for SEGA Genesis in November 1993. In the next following year, Aladdin was released for several platforms such as Amiga, DOS Computer, Nintendo and Game Boy. The selling of this game became successful because the selling reached four million copies. In addition, this game was included in best-selling Sega Genesis game of all time, Waaaww... Amazing.

LEVELS

There are ten different levels in this game. It's based on the story of Aladdin film. The followings are the explanation of them.

1. Agrabah Market: This stage the player (Aladdin) should fight with the market guards.

2. The Desert: The player must discover the half of beetle jewel that is used to open the cave. The location is in the Cave of Wonder deserts.

3. Agrabah Rooftops: After getting the half of beetle jewel, Aladin fights with Gazeem who is his thief partner in the beginning of the movie.

4. Sultan Dungeon: The location is in the prison. Here Aladdin fights to be able getting out of prison. Actually, it's a small part of the movie.

5. Cave of Wonders: Aladdin searches for magic lamp in the Cave of Wonders.

6. The Escape: The Cave of Wonders is collapse and Aladdin has to struggle to get out of it.

7. Rug Ride: Aladdin rides the magic flying carpet to continue his escape.

8. Inside the Lamp: Aladdin is trapped in the Lamp. This part is inspired by a"Friend Like Me" musical scene.

9. Sultan's Palace: Aladdin runs into palace and fights with Lago which is Jafar's parrot bird

10. Jafar's Palace: It's the final stage and Aladdin fights Jafar. It's also the last scene in the movie.

GAMEPLAY

The first stage of this game is started in Agrabah Market. As I've said, here Aladdin or player fights with the market guards. Aladdin can defend himself by using a sword and throwing apple but the apples have the limited number. Then, Aladdin can jump to avoid stepping on the fire. Jumping also can be used to jump from one to another rooftop. Furthermore, Aladdin also can swing by hanging in a handle.

I've told you what you have to do when you face the enemies and obstacles. Now, I'm about to tell you what else you can get. First, you can collect the gems and trade them. Why do you need to do this? because the developers don't want Aladdin to be a thief anymore HAHAHAHA, I'm joking. The next bonus that you can achieve is to find Genie or Abu Icons. Don't estimate these bonuses. because once you get them, you're gonna enable bonus round. For example, If you get Genie, you're gonna get bonus round for apples, gems, or extra lives while if you get Abu icons, you control the monkey to catch the bonus that falls from the sky and you should avoid touching rocks and pots.

My Opinion

Aladdin is an adventure game that is quite amazing. It's inspired by a movie of the same name which has a quite a complex story. All of the levels of this game are based on the scene of Aladdin movie. This only can be played by a single player. Then, the graphic of this game is interesting with a nice back song. The control button of this game is almost the same with other similar games. Overall, I give 8.5 for this game.
