Ark - Becoming The Alpha Tribe
Hello everyone!
So, recently a lot has happened in ARK.
After I did this post, there was some admin abuse and drama on the server that we were playing on. Someone who was once an enemy, but had became our friend, decided to start his own server so that we could all have somewhere new to play.
This meant building up again.
Opposite of the enemy to friend thing - our once friend was being an immature loser, so he became our enemy. Enemies can be quickly made in ARK, as Tribes tend to have a lot of different people in them, who don't always get along. Also, if you're not pulling your weight to support the tribe, you will probably be voted off the island. In this case, he destroyed our new base we were building up, so we had to move somewhere more secret.
We moved underneath a giant floating island in the middle of The Center map.
Our tribe was even bigger this time, and we built up fast!
There were NPC's called Bush People on this server.
We decided to go tame some of them. Yes, they are humans that tame like dinos...
This time, we pimped our house out.
Someone added the Pimp My House mod, and we took full advantage of the decorations. Well, I think I spent the most time decorating...
I collected a few pets.
I love the shoulder pets in ARK. They are adorable, and can also become quite useful. They look like stuffed animals when I put them on the bed. Cuddles, anyone?
We found an underwater cave under the ocean.
Somehow, while we were looking for some specific creatures under the ocean, we fell into an air pocket and found a giant cave.
You could breathe, and it was like a giant bubble. You could look outside, into the depths of the ocean, and watch the underwater species do their thing.
We built some really awesome Tek Tier stuff!
We wanted to build a tree platform, but there were no Redwood trees by us, so we improvised, and used the Tek tree platform builder. It made it's own tree. Well, not exactly a tree...
Our base was built up enough, that we could play around a bit.
We got our own unique looks set up, painted things, built new things for fun. We were surrounded by turret towers, and we didn't have too much to worry about.
We had become the Alpha Tribe.
We were the strongest tribe on the server.
... and we were the reason the server had to be wiped.
It was to encourage new people to join the server, because they are intimidated by alphas. We all knew it would most likely happen, and we had our fun. A couple of us decided to start on some new maps that had been added, and we moved to the desert. You'll see what happens on my next blog post!
