The Forest - Planning and defensive strategy, explained in detail + Video (To live in a game)
In these games anyone can survive, but I do it with very much style and of strategic form. Everything what I construct has a strategic meaning and a presentation that generates visual harmony for every structure.
Welcome to my space of construction and the world where I am always trying to survive. In this publication it will show you all the structures that I have created to do a fortitude, prepared to receive constant attacks of the enemies of the island.
The explanation will be in several sections, so that they could understand the motive of every structure.
The central place is in a mountain that it is on the beach of the island, where only there is a way of entering walking.
She is surrounded by the sea and in the height of the mountain that allows a protection of natural form. Preventing from being able to be attacked by the flanks and to center all my defense on only one point.
Sight East of the place
The mountain is very high and it allows to have a wide vision status to be able to perceive the enemies who approach, as well as the height prevents the native ones from being able to use fire bombs to destroy my structures.
I have a few buildings that they communicate with the low part of the mountain, but if it is destroyed in the same way they do not allow the enemies' step
The beach protected with bomb pitfalls molotov that they exploit when the enemy touches the device. I added a layer of dry sheets, which, on having exploited the pitfall, increases the status of the effect.
It is very effective because in the night it is not easy to be able to see the native ones that surround the mountain and I do not have to risk having to go out to defend this section of the structures.
When it becomes day I can check calmly every section and see if some enemy to fallen in the pitfall.
Only you see a small section of my defenses, he might say that 10 % because it is a side of the mountain. The side is East of the mountain, surrounded with the coast of the beach.
Sight to the west of the place
Forgive me not to be able to take a good image, but in this section there is many moisture and the sun always reflects the camera, that's why it is not possible to appreciate of better form. The sea works like a natural barrier that he avoids that the enemies could enter or approach to throw explosives from the distance.
It is not necessary to place pitfalls in the shore of the beach because the enemy does not have enough angle to throw any explosive.
I did not do alertness structures for that reason, because I do not need to visualize this area.
I have a small port where I park ships to be able to mobilize me for this side of the sea. Till now the native ones do not attack this structure, I imagine that they do not consider it to be important, that's why I do not add my pitfalls.
Although it is a very simple structure, it fulfills an important role for its utility. Further on I will explain the motive.
If they look at my hand that is of green color, it is because I have an armor that has a sheets layer, that allows to camouflage me with the environment and prevent from being able to see me from the distance.
Sight to the north of the place
It is possible to be said that this is the courtyard of behind of my house, I have a tower alertness and a tower with a rope that I use as a transport way. Of course they will wonder: where does it transport it?
The image that I show previously from the side west, it is taken from one of the structures that I have created to escape of a massive attack.
Route to escape # 1
I designed it thinking about a way of escaping for another place if I am surrounded and my main defenses are not sufficient. That's why the rope is moored to a structure in half of the sea, creating a base that allows me to be able to come from rapid form without turning out to be an injured person or having to cross running (rather, to avoid to run to the shore of the island to seize a boat).
In this place I have a floating house that gives protection of the climate and a boat to be able to move me for another place where I have a reservation of food and drinking water. If you look at the image, in the right top part you can see the place that I say to you.
It is a place where I have enough meal and drinking water to last a few days without need to risk going out.
Since it is in the middle of the sea, I do not need walls to defend myself and the alertness tower allows me to be able to have a very wide visual field.
The sight does not allow to see perfectly the main camp, but if it is possible to see the presence of any enemy for the coast of the mountain.
Do you remember the port that it mentioned previously? I designed it to use it when I have to return from the small island.
Sight to the North of the place
This part is the only direct entry that has the mountain, that's why it is the area with major protection. I have the courtyard full of pitfalls with molotov bombs and explosives. The green lines in the soil are sheets used as pitfalls of fire, they increase and allow the explosions to generate major damage status.
The accumulated wood I use in the night to be able to see the enemies with major facility. If the enemy approaches too much he turns out to be hurt by the fire of these wooden trunks.
The North part of the camp, I have her divided into two defensive sections. To avoid any attack direct and massive, like that the native ones cannot enter to my facilities.
The first defensive line.
The wall has several layers that turn it into a very resistant structure against the constant damage of the enemies. The line of gray color represents a few pitfalls with wooden peaks, which are driven on having approached.
The line of yellow color represents a wooden wall with sharp tops, which if it is destroyed it does not affect to the main wall. The line of orange color represents a stone wall, which is a material to very resistant against the damage.
The line of red color represents a wall of wooden trunks that have peaks that they avoid that the enemy could jump on.
Behind the walls I have reservations with armament and armors, to be able to maintain the constant combat.
I have molotov bombs, armors of bone, arches and arrows, quite prepared not to lose time looking for munitions. That is important because when one is in fight it is not possible to lose time creating new armament, in this time course there might get lost big part of the first line of defense.
The first defense line is connected by bridges to the second line, thus to be able to step back if the main defenses failed.
The alertness towers are created by major height to be able to visualize over the first line and allow to keep on fighting from the distance without risking. All the bases of the bridges have a double protection layer so that it resists the sufficient thing while one steps back to the second line.
I have rope systems in some towers, to be able to mobilize me of rapid form back and forth.
At the moment of an attack many structures are damaged, that's why to move rapidly can avoid to lose them and not to lose resources.
The second defensive line.
It is similar in strategy to the first line, created to be able to step back when the first line to fallen. Since I mentioned earlier this one connected by means of bridges with the first line and it has an internal courtyard with pitfalls and resources of reservation.
I have a major building materials quantity, to avoid to go out in half of a combat to have to look for materials. Located of strategic form in a part that is of easy access not to lose time looking.
Trunks of wood and stones are a few very heavy building materials and that to mobilize them are difficult, that's why store a sufficient quantity.
In the central part, I have a house with resistant bases, where I can sleep, cook and saved the game, this one surrounds a giant tree that it is not possible to destroy, using its shade as a natural roof. The height of the house allows to have a very big and wide visual field, to be able to watch the first and second defensive line.
In the lower part I have a few cultivation of plants and rainwater collectors.
The part of stone of the house, it is a store of medicines, meal and canned drinks.
Under the tree I have a space to meet my friends and to be able to decide our future actions.
It does not have a defensive role, but I think that it is necessary to have a recreation space and to be able to relax. As well as it gives a more attractive visual aspect to the place and the comfort state.

And as I said that previously I have everything connected by means of bridges and ropes, to be able to move for the whole place of rapid and effective form.
Mention previously that has two leakage routes, but only I showed them one, to prevent from being able to denounce me with the native ones of the island and be cornered. Hahaha it is a prank, I didn't say it because it is in the central part of the base.
Route to escape # 2
Similar to the first one, I use a rope that allows me to move to another island that is in the middle of the sea, but closer to the base.
I have reservation resources, to be able to seize a necessary quantity to survive out.
