If you like strategy games, with good graphics and out of the ordinary. Here I bring you this presentation to show you the new way to play chess, in a way you never saw before.

Considered for many years the game of chess as a gentleman's sport, where the skill has to be intelligence, decision making and quick thinking.

The history of chess can be traced back nearly 1500 years, although the earliest origins are uncertain. The earliest predecessor of the game probably originated in India, before the 6th century AD; a minority of historians believe the game originated in China. History of chess

This version of the game has its past. With an earlier version that was updated to give it a better look, a more entertaining way and fun scenes.

You will have several options on the initial screen before you start to play.

You can play against the computer, which has several difficulty levels, or you can play the multiplayer version to meet opponents from all over the world. There is also the option to do the tutorial in case you never played chess, where you will be explained in steps how the movements of the pieces are.

The options button is to modify the graphics, sound and a button to exit the application.

When you start against the computer, you will have the options of what you want the game to be like.

The level of difficulty that the computer will have, the speed of the animations and the movements of the pieces.

This section is important because it will be where you can choose the speed of the game, if you are more interested in playing and doing your maneuvers or if you want to see more detailed combat scenes of the characters. All this depends on the interests of the user.

This section is where I will show you the pieces you will have in the game, the moves you can make and in which direction you can attack. The game maintains the same dynamics of chess, only with better presentations.

The pawn

This character is a frontline soldier. But he is the one with the largest number and in charge of protecting everyone else at the beginning of the game.

His moves are short, he can move two squares when making the first move for each character, then he can only move one frame at a time. Cannot jump on other pieces, any piece that is right in front of a pawn blocks its advance to that square.

It can only attack diagonally

Bishop

It can move in a straight diagonal line and also attack in this way. You have the choice to move as many squares as you want, until you find the end of the board or another piece, but this character cannot jump over other pieces.

You'll have two bishop characters at the start of the fight, one in a black square and one in a white square. He has no straight moves and can't attack straight.

Tower

This character moves in a straight horizontal or vertical line with no limit to the number of spaces, unless he meets another piece. He cannot jump over other pieces, and attacks the same way he moves.

In the game he plays with a giant man, fat but very strong.

Horse

This character is the only piece on the board that has the ability to jump over any other piece, which is why it's considered important.

His movement and attack is in the form of an "L".

In the game is represented in the form of a gentleman who has a horse-faced armor on his chest

Queen

This female character can move in any number of squares in a straight line, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

It cannot jump on another piece and attacks in the same way as it moves.

You have to use the queen properly because you only have one.

King

Turns out to be the most important character in the game, all the other characters have to take care of the king. If it is necessary to risk another character to save the king, it has to be done, because if you don't lose the game automatically.

The king has little mobility

He can't jump over another piece.

But you can move a square in any direction, from horizontal, vertical or even diagonally.

This character must move when threatened with attack, it is not recommended to use it to attack.

All chess boards consist of 64 equal squares, consisting of eight rows and eight columns.

The pictures are almost always two colors, black and white, but that's for the tradition of the game and for easy identification.

The boxes have a name to give a location, depending on a letter and a number. They are named alphanumerically.

If you look at the image on the right and use it as a guide, you can locate any square I mentioned below:

A1, H8 (The first is the first box on the lower left side) and (The second is the last frame on the top right-hand side).

This technique is used when you want to mention where the piece moved from and where it will end up.

I made a video showing some animations of the game, some moves and so they can appreciate the characters. I fought against the computer, I'm no expert on this but I really liked it.

I shortened the video to a total of 11 minutes, because I spent almost 1 hour playing it, I repeat I am not an expert at chess. I hope you have fun and find it entertaining.

I'm not a fan of chess, but I do consider it to be the basis of every strategy game, where every move can affect the rest of the game. One thing that is surprising is that this graphic presentation, music and animations give you the thrill of wanting to play to see every attack of the characters, and it causes you a conflict of feelings when you're attacked, because you lose one of your team.

I can notice that the game has some flaws, if you see in the video there are scenes in which the characters lose all the color and are like a black shadow. Although I can't say if my computer doesn't support all the graphic animations and that's why this happens.

One of my favourite characters is "the tower" because of the fun animations it has and its wide range of movement. But I always read that "the horse" is the most important piece of all chess because of its style of movement and that it can jump over any other piece, giving it a lot of mobility without limitations.

If your style of play is simple, you can remove the animations so that you only see the characters' movements and don't waste time, but you will lose all the fun of this game. The advantage is that your computer will not be saturated and you will be able to run the game faster.
