The wife and I have different ways of playing Pokemon, but we play it side by side as well. I create a team for onlibe competition, she collects all the everything in the game for completion.

But we never battle. We agreed on that a long time ago. 11 years later and not a match fought. In game or real life!

It sounds like you guys have found a system that works. 11 years is a great track record - congratulations!

Maybe if we completely burn out on Minecraft, The Wife and I will give Pokemon a try.

Its nice because the Pokemon games always come out in two versions. Black and white, gold and silver. And there's exclusive Pokemon to each game so you have to trade with each other but it's beneficial so it works out really well.

I don't really know much about Pokemon so I appreciate the info. I think it's great that there are so many games that involve trading and cooperation these days. If we were limited to playing Cribbage or Poker against each other, it might not be great for the marriage. In fact, we tend to get a little over-competitive about Scrabble!

I understand. We dont have monopoly for the same reason, but more board games have cone out that does make it fun with another couple. Personally I like the Firefly board game, still learning it though.
