[Whack Gaming] The KSP Series #3 - Kerbin and Kerbol Systems
Welcome back my whack scientists! In this post, I am going to introduce you to our Cosmic home. Now, I must warn you, this is all still a myth. Many old Kerbals told us stories about the moons and other planets, but the evidence was lacking. As our discoveries grow we will surely find some answers but today as we stand here on Kerbin, we can see some odd objects in the sky.
Some of them think it's the meteor coming slowly towards us, some say that other life form is there and some of them think that this is a moon or planet. It will be interesting to see who is right as already some of them are getting angry at each other. Nonetheless, we are all eager to find out the answers and develop as a species.
This is our only home, planet Kerbin. We don't know our roots, we heard only a few old stories but without much evidence to support it. Now, we're turning our focus to what's ahead of us. We have our Whack Space Crew ready to explore our only planet. We want to see what's that odd object in the sky and are the stories of another farther object true.
So far, we have our Whack Space Center from where we'll conduct all our missions. We are united together to conquer the Cosmos. But first, we will need to explore and research Kerbin to have additional knowledge about where we live. Every step is important and we trust the scientific process. This is a big mission with long-term goals but we're ready to do it! Right now!
Kerbin's land is covered with flat plains and wide mountains but that's not all of the beauties our planet has. With its crystal clear oceans, Kerbals think that this is the most beautiful planet in our Cosmos. Currently, we know only about this planet so technically they're right :D The only home to the Kerbals is having a lot of biomes that will be crucial in our scientific research. The more scientific research, the faster the Kerbals will find the truth up there.
With biomes such as plains, mountains, deserts, oceans and many more, Kerbin has one anomaly that is very interesting to all the Kerbals. It is said that who he first research that area, will be our new hero. Many stories have been told that this is a place where it all started. The Crater is an anomaly that Jebediah and his crew are eager to research and bring news back home to Whack Space Center. This will be the mission we will try to do as fast as possible.

That odd object everybody is talking about is our large satellite, the Mun. Covered in gray appearance with gazillion craters of various sizes, the Mun is offering to be our first big Cosmic mission. The Mun was not discovered that long ago but it arrived at the right time, just before Kerbals finished building their Whack Space Center. They are eager to see if there is any water or life form up there and will do their best to see if there is a place to build first Kerbal Space Base.
The discovery of the Mun made Kerbals think more about their future and space flights. They are planning a visit there so be sure to follow their story. Hopefully, all tests will give them green light to see what's up there!

A tiny speck in the sky baffled a lot of Kerbals and it is sure one of the hottest topics in Whack Space Station. A group of individuals who called themselves Kerbal Astros, are sure that this is not only a dirt on telescope lens but a real moon. It must be really small or it is big but very far says the group, but the questions are still unanswered. The general opinion is that this is something undebatable because we cannot research it deep enough to understand it.
The unanswered questions are one of the passions rooted deep inside all of the Kerbals and Minmus will be a test even for most experienced ones. Luckily, Kerbals are science maniacs and dedicated to doing their part so the moral is high and the day will come sooner or later. Our missions on Kerbin and Mun will be a major factor to decide is Minmus reachable.

The only data we have is from the group Kerbal Astros and they are sure that this is what our Kerbin system looks like. One planet, 2 moons. The Mun must be closer to Kerbin than Minmus. But which moon is bigger, that is still a very tough question even for them.
This was the only thing they offered to us so far and it doesn't look like Kerbals are accepting it. It must be that their nature of wanting to know, is just telling them that there is not much data to support their claims. Nevertheless, Kerbals are hyped up to go there and see will they find anything and will this be a profitable moon for the whole species. It looks like a very simple system, but future will tell what is out there.
