I've heard the microtransactions that are tied to lootcrates called microgambling. I like this moniker for those systems.

This is a big problem for Canadians. We have strict gambling laws in order to protect young children from their risk/reward centers of their brain from being exploited for financial gain by a faceless corp.

Now a days, it's like videogames are Fischer Price my first Gambling Addiction.

@weg, wow! That is a big problem, and I hope we'd have regulations in place sooner so we can stop the madness!

Microgambling is a growing problem, but it won't end until people stop "buying" these games, as well as regulators putting a limitation on them as well.
