Tales of Zestiria - Tales Games Are Awesome And So Is Namco

Tales games have been a boon to the J-RPG(Japanese Role Playing Game) communities. Tales of Zestiria is one of the many installations of the Tales series and it is one of its flagship title. Released in January, 2015.

The game is available on Steam, PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4. Take your pick.

Compared to other Tales games and the storyline, this one is by far one of the mediocre ones. Seems like they were going for the overly graphical Tales game than putting more effort into a good plot which goes hand in hand with any role-playing game.

The 3D mechanics as we've already seen in some of the previous Tales games, with the addition to a few elements to the battle system. The Tales games love switching up a few things in their battle system with every Tales game so you'll always expect something new from a future Tales game.

What the game loses out in plot, it makes up for with amazing character development and beautiful voice actors. Honestly, one cannot talk enough about the voice acting in this game. Although, it always comes down to the plot.

You know that feeling of a game franchise no matter how different the next one is, it is sometimes a disappointment no matter how hard the developers try to spice things up with the plot. But that's what the essence of a Tales game is.

Do not get me wrong, this is an amazing game for first timers to the Tales franchise and you should definitely give it a go, I recommend it. Wouldn't be writing about it if I didn't like the game.
