Good day steemians, Welcome to my blog. Today we're going to do a game review on Gods of Rome. In my last post was were I shared a game review on Brothers in arms 3. You can still check it out here
So today we will be doing a game review on Gods of Rome

Gods of Rome is an action game with quite a good amount of terrific components on it as it's basically also a game that mostly involves fighting whereby you have the great warrior who fights extremely good in order to save his nation and free up the good ones that are been tied down by the bad enemies. So actually there's More things done on the game by the developers which is the popular Gameloft developers as they are also known for the good things they do and every nice aspect of designs and all other things about it.

Actually speaking, even though it seemed not all that perfect, it's quite sorry to say but to burst your bubble. The Fighting games have always had issues when being ported onto touchscreen devices so the agreed upon solution that has been up to dilute the beat genre to fit into simple tap and swipe controls. So This actually means that Gods of Rome doesn't actually features any real combo system and particularly complicated or nuanced in its one-on-one battle gaming. There in the game is where you'd simply just tap at the right side of the screen of your device to throw a string of light punches, as you'd swipe right for a medium attack that charges and you can hold the screen to charge a strong attack that can equally also break its defences in a kind of a hard way, Defence really consists of holding the left of the screen to block and swiping left to dash away all from your opponent. So this means that although you'd get punished for simply tapping away with light attacks and you'll feel the full force of heavy attacks if you try and block too much for too long as well, there really isn't much else to the fighting outside of this. Sure, the fighters themselves act a little differently, having different speed of attack and varying reach to their strikes but it's all fairly rudimentary within the way it is.

The game in the Gods of Rome revolves around well, the gods of Rome. But someone over at Gameloft seems to have been a but confused, as the characters include Greek mythological personalities. Either that or the plot has a pretty sharp twist on it as some of the main characters include Zeus, Spartacus and Atlas and readily speaking these heroes fight against an ancient evil force that threatens to enslave their souls, so That’s about as much as we know about the story, though. But it's really cool in everywhere it seems to look like too.

The gods of Rome is really a cool and fun to play game as it's quite pleasant with the great works of it and as well the fantastic designs of it as it's simply just a game that features a lot great contents which really worked fine within the good way it should and ultimately added up to the feel of the game in general. So it's quite often to say that when it comes to making games actually, Gameloft is no amateur. They make some of the highest quality titles of games you can easily find in the Google play store, and their upcoming app seems to follow suit with all other games too. Gods of Rome has just started it's great works, and though as much as we don’t have much information on it, the little we know makes it worth our attention, so it's quite fun and good in the general aspect of it. Actually I'd just have to wait a bit long and like see how everything unfolds on the gameplay, but so far this is looking like a very promising game and I certainly can’t wait to try it out overall.

The gods of Rome game was released on the December 16 2016 and looking at this date it actually shows that the game was released quite a long time now as probably it was released like 2 years ago but to tell you ever since it was released they've been doing quite good since then both on the visibility aspect of it and the positive reviews and the nice good comments made by the users all were absolutely encouraging to see cause actually lots of people really liked the game so much so that equally makes no much difference on it though. There again, so there again, Talking about the visibility of the game, right now the Game has a total of 10 million downloads on play store and still counting as well cause literally it's just a game that is been liked by all for the fantastic way it plays and all other things about it both the positive reviews and comments made by the users who've actually played the game. So it's really a great game and another fun thing that me really liked the game is because there wasn't much of any negative reviews about it or Rather I'll say there wasn't at all. So in the generally aspect of it, it's all an excellent game with one of the best graphical designs on it as well, and I really love it all.

The gods of Rome game was created and developed by the popular game developers which is known as the Gamelofts and are also the developers of other fun action games like the modern combat 5, brothers in arms, nova legacy, gangster Vegas, the age of Sparta and the last but not the least which is the zombie anarchy survival game. so actually there games are all good and played quite different in a fantastic different way from other games and basically they deal more on developing action fighting fantastic games so there's actually a bit difference there cause all has it's way of describing it.

So after the release of the game were some few features and factors that got added up to it which added up in making the game to become a more fantastic one like it is now. So here are the newly things and features that just got fixed and added up to the game; the chieftain is ready for the celebration. winter festivities Added as well, you can easily Complete activities and earn rewards every day and everytime you play the game, you can Partake in the winter festivities and equally obtain the new festive chieftain. So in overall, As everything got fixed and new features added to the game I'm quite sure it really made a lot difference as now the game functions well in an appropriate way it should though even without this few features the game is still a standard action game that plays very well in a fantastic way too.

GAMEPLAY

Speaking about the gameplay, the gameplay aspect of gods of Rome actually has nothing much complicated on it but it's mostly a kind of game that can get you wondering how perfect it's been played, so I equally would say it's kind of a complicated game as most things of it Really seemed so confusing depending on how you see it to be though. The gameplay is really a fantastic one as it starts greatly in an exciting way making few of other things concerned on the game to be less hard or rather quite simple, so it's typically just a good game. And This actually means that although you'll get punished for just simply tapping away with the lights attacks and you'll soon also feel the full force of heavy attacks if you try and block too much or for maybe a long time, there's really not much else to the fighting outside of the game. This simplicity of the game actually often means that the fighters with the best stats are the winner. So as this is a free-to-play game, the hook here is that your fighters need to be upgraded using orbs. And talking about this Orbs, they are dished out by playing the lengthy and bigger expanding story mode, by taking part in special event fights or by forking over some few of the cold and hard the cashes as well.

Its actually a fairly forgiving and generous model game, there's plenty of game to be played before the game asks you for money. It's always refreshing to see a game that isn't aggressive in its quest to become profitable so therefore it's positive saying that Gods of Rome needs to be commended for the way it treats its players in this regard definitely. The game leaves much to be desired. It’s a good idea crammed thing into a cookie-cutter mobile game mold that is just really too small for it to work out well. So in the general aspect of it to say, the gameplay aspect of gods of Rome game is just a fantastic one as it was quite intense and fun to play. So It's all good game with a good gameplay as well.

GRAPHICS

Speaking about the graphics, the graphical aspect of gods of Rome game is really a nice one as it was quite interesting looking at it which really means there's much about it as it also added to the feel of the game in general. The graphics actually seemed to be so perfect and nice of the way it is, this typically shows how well it was designed to be and to also tell you how great the game looks like even with the Gameloft developers, so I'm quite sure of things in this aspect cause there actually will be more of it. The main good about the graphics is, first off, The smooth creature designs. The creatures move fluidly and look good as well Also, The character models are good and the textures there aren't too blurry. The blood is very realistic,too, splattering and staying there for the rest of the game. The few negative is there are quite a few graphical glitches and some clipping problems. but it's mostly a good looking game though, so overall the graphical aspect is just a fun and good looking one.

SOUND

Speaking about the sound, the sound aspect of gods of Rome game is also a cool one as it sounded quite good when hearing of it. The shooting aspect and the sound heard from the game characters where all nice truly cause it kind of played in a simple and slowly way which adds to the feel of the game, so I'd equally say it's almost everything about the game, all where quite good and to the best part of it happened to be that it was designed greatly in a pleasant order, so it's all fun in what ever they are. Actually speaking, the sound aspect is really an excellent one. The sound effects are ultimately great and sounded so realistic. The voice of the dieing and bads of enemies are all brilliantly designed. The soundtrack really isn't all there though but typically adds to the feel of the game. The voice acting is moderate as well at best but can be forced and stiffed most of the time but that also doesn't stops it from been a cool and awesome game, so in the general aspect of it, the sound is just a cool one to hear of definitely.

FINAL WORD

In overall, the gods of Rome game is really a nice game and it's simply one of the best action fighting game I've played so far and I can tell you how good and bad it was though it happened to be that it's bad aspect are just few of them, so there's actually More of positives on the game. The game is really Worth to have a download cause it's a fabulous game, so go get it on play store and enjoy. Thanks!!
