GODFIRE RISE OF PROMETHEUS GAME REVIEW

Good day steemians, welcome to my blog. Today we're going to do a game review on Godfire rise of Prometheus. In my last post was were I shared a game review on Samurai vs Zombies defense. You can still check it out here
So today we will be doing a game review on Godfire rise of Prometheus

Godfire rise of Prometheus is an action game and an arcade fighting game that actually involves quite a lot of many things on it. The game really does plays fantastic in a Nice way and it's components is just different from most of other fighting games as here it's a game that simply involves fighting mostly whereby you'd get to Become a Titan and equally fight to save mankind in the most epic action-adventure game ever developed. The last final executions of the game feels a bit too much like ticking off boxes on a checklist. And What’s all the more frustrating about it is that there is clearly a lot of talent involved on the part of the people who put it together.

There’s nothing really more like a raw hack and slash game to pass by the time. It’s just quick, instant, and the actions done on the game is intense and the kind of elements needed to give a game that slick appeal. Few titles in mobile managed to give me a smile as the graphics department during PAX East of about two years ago but i actually can still attest that Godfire: Rise of Prometheus game is from the developers and over at Vivid Games which is one of them that got the juices flowing rapidly.

The controls for this slicing game is really paradoxically one sluggish and yet somewhat a bit responsive at the same time. But due to the fact that I was playing the game on an older hardware where slowdown and chug was a constant companion, the sluggishness made the reactants time feel in line with the pace the game was moving at. But for what it’s worth, it worked much better than most virtual set-ups I’ve seen in other games. As I wasn’t also able to sample out the game with any of the supported controller add-ons, so I can’t properly comment on if they enhance the experience appreciably or not but hopefully they would have something important to do on it.

The game also have a vicious combat against hordes of enemies and as well as a challenging boss battles with many more of other fantastic actions the game features which in overall are Nice and does adds quite a lot of fun to the feel of the game.

Actually speaking, One of the more enticing factors of the game was seeing what the next act was going to Really look like, and although there are a couple levels that stand out more than the others, it's just an overall and enjoyable visual experience, all designed on it. A highlight for me on the Game was some of the different actions of Prometheus, but specifically during the combat as well.

Between the wrath combos, execution moves, and just how each of every weapons looked performing on all of the moves, there’s literally a lot there to keep one been invested in the combat visually. Eventually the enemy movements are not quite as exciting as you may see it and they never really seemed to change from act to act, and Prometheus alone can’t fully make up for this game. There is definitely rooms to improve in this game’s visuals, but the great storyline aspect and other positives can’t be ignored as well but could maybe be ignored and that way might equally be on another aspect of the game.

The game was released on the December 4 2014 and looking at this date, it is actually showing that the game was released quite a long time as probably it was released like 4 years ago but it's quite to say that ever since the game was released they've been doing quite good since then both on the visibility aspect of it and the positive reviews and every nice good comments made by it's users all were absolutely encouraging to see cause actually lots of people really liked the game so much so that equally makes no much difference on it though. And there again, Talking about the visibility aspect of the game, right now the Game has a total of about 1 million downloads on play store and still counting as well cause literally it's a game that is mostly liked by everyone all for the fantastic way it plays and all other things about it both the positive reviews and comments made by the users who've actually played the game. So There again, it's really a great game and another fun thing about it and why I loved it this much is because there wasn't much of any negative reviews about it or Rather I'll say there wasn't at all. So generally it's all an excellent game with one of the best graphical designs on it as well.

The Godfire rise of Prometheus game was created and developed by Vivid games S.A which as well are the good developers of most of other fun fantastic games like the city island game, the fast fighter action game, the real money boxing pacquiao game, the sky dancer game and the last but not the least which is the dead effect 2. so there games are all good and played cool in a fantastic different way from other games and basically they deal more on developing action games so there's actually a bit difference there cause all has it's way of reasoning about it.

So after the release of the game were some few features and factors that got added up to it which added up in making the game to become a more fantastic one like it is now. So here are the newly things and features that just got fixed and added up to the game; they've added new skins, they've added a New camo rarity and Limited Editions, you'll battle real time to save mankind regardless of place, time or device you are using thanks to the power of Cloud Save, letting you transfer your progress simply just at the touch of a button And lastly the sharper than ever with numerous tweaks and updates to gameplay which makes adventure and fighting the hordes of Helios more epic, responsive and vicious than it have ever been before. So in general as everything got fixed and new features added to the game I'm quite sure it really made a lot difference and now the game functions well in an appropriate way it should though even without this features the game is still a standard action game that plays very well in a fantastic way too.

GAMEPLAY

Speaking about the gameplay, the gameplay aspect of this game is actually a fantastic one and it's quite an exciting game overall Which literally does have a lot of positives on it and the good things about a game came in to this one but in a different aspect as the characters were all nice and practically designed in a standard way which generally adds to the feel of the game.

There on the game, You'll simply play as a Prometheus, as you can just fight your way through seven linear levels to take down the sun-god Helios and equally steal the Godfire for some few reasons. It has never been quite a clear game ever since I know of it and The storyline is a very loose adaptation of the ancient myth altered to make sure that there are plenty of opportunities for the butchery of mythological creatures and gratuitous glimpses of Aphrodite's rear end.

Another thing that makes the gameplay feel a stale after a few acts done on the game is purely about the lack of new mechanics as You’re given a light and heavy attack, all along with the ability to block, dodge, and roll other than that you only have a “wrath” meter which can be used to unleash more powerful attacks. The Godfire tries to implement things that'd be used to change it up, like throwing in executions which usually takes a bit too long for the player to want to do them often. Executions can replenish your health and wrath, so they are actually pretty useful, but they just get too repetitive more fast.

There are also a few puzzles in-between the groups of enemies, but these actually are easy enough for anyone to solve in just a few seconds as well and that's doing it on the best part of the game. Despite being 7 Acts, you actually only have 3 majorly unique boss encounters. There is more of a combination of bosses that are re-introduced later on with also 1 or 2 new mechanics, as well as bosses that are extremely similar to another boss too. But Still, these fights can get pretty fun especially on the harder difficulties which are unlocked simply by completing the previous difficulties and any More of those basic things you might just find on the game.

GRAPHICS

Speaking about the graphics, the graphical aspect if this game is actually a good one to look at as it does have a lot of fantastic aspect all within the game. The graphics really is just one thing one can ever talk negative of or you decide to simply put it this way, the environments are all beautiful and looks good, there's one thing that makes snooker relatively to your friends as it brights up the place making the game normal as everything there were fantastic and in all adds to the feel of the game. The graphics in overall are good and seems decent, but the main problem is how the game performs, though it's granted now. The other time, I was using an iPad 3, so it may run better on a 4. The Frame rate stutters were the most noticeable issue, but now just some character/NPC models could use some smoothing out around the edges as well. The game actually never felt unplayable due to the frame-rate lag been noticed and experienced, so it won’t knock it too hard for this.

SOUND

Speaking about the sound, the sound aspect of this game is nice overall and yes it's really a great one to hear of as it literally still don't know how to do the basics of the game and in general, the game is simply fantastic which is why it usually happens most often to the good side things of it. There were a handful of cut-scenes with voice acting, which were enjoyable to watch and a nice touch to a moderately interesting story. The sound effects developed on the game are great and sounded so much realistic. the voice of the dieing and shrieks of enemies are brilliantly designed. The soundtrack really isn't all there though but typically it all adds to the feel of the game in general. The voice acting is moderate as well but at it's best which can simply be can be forced and stiff.

FINAL WORD

In overall, the Godfire rise of Prometheus game is a fantastic action game everyone should really try out definitely, the game plays fantastically in a good way and also does quite a lot more of other things that will satisfy one when he/she is playing the game. The game ends with a sequel tease, and I hope developers Vivid Games have the chance to follow through on that promise. There’s a thing in Godfire, like a real big thing and I want to see what it could become if as much time is spent doing the gameplay as it's dedicated to upping the polygon count. So in overall if you're a lover of action arcade games, I'll gladly recommend you play this game for it's really a fantastic one to definitely try out, so go get it on the app store. Thanks!!
