TF2 weapon of the Week: The Diamondback

The Spy Class has some Very Useful Revolvers, The Revolver is used to kill foes from afar or to Kill a Razorback Sniper.

However one Revolver Replacement is Often Argued to be an Overpowered Crutch. The Diamondback

The Diamondback is a Simple Weapon, It Possesses a Lower Base Damage(and no Random Crits), In Return, if you can get a Backstab or Destroy a Building with your Sapper you get 1 Guaranteed Critical Hit.

Basically you Start at a Disadvantage but Rewards you for your Skill with the Class with a Short Burst of huge Damage.

This Weapon is most Effective as an Escape Tool after getting a Successful Pick, rather then a Straight Damage Dealer. This Weapon also Works really well for Teamplay, as you will still get the Crits from a Sapped Building, even if it was an Ally who Destroyed it, So this can Benefit from a Coordinated Push.

As for Weapons to Pair with this...well the Diamondback, Deadringer, and Spycicle Combo Still works really well, Even with Jungle inferno's Deadringer Nerf. as Much as this Combo is Hated, this is the most effective at Escaping.

Now for a Kinda New Segment. Personal Thoughts.

Personally, I don't Like that the Diamondback is called a Crutch, Mainly because the fact you get the Crits for Doing your Job as Spy and Doing it Well. However because People have Abused the Crit Giving Mechanic off of Unaware Players people are calling it a Crutch for people who Cannot Aim a Revolver.

However a Similar thing can be Said about...Literally Almost every Single Weapon, You can Call the Sandvich/Banana a Crutch for Bad Heavies Who cannot Stay Alive without a Medibeam Up their Pootis 24/7, or the Gunboats as a Crutch for Trolldiers that cant Manage their Health, or The Mad Milk as a Crutch for Scouts who Can't fight Pyros, or the Crossbow as a Crutch because you are too Lazy to Walk over and use the Medigun.

See what I mean? Can we Stop with the Whole Crutch Thing, I know People Use these Weapons as Crutches, but that's a Thing with the person using it, Not with the Weapon in General.
